About Peter Lotterhos

Peter Lotterhos, founder of LET, grew up in New Jersey, the child of two psychotherapists who were committed to communication versus dominance. Peter’s parents believed that children are young adults who are able to be responsible for the creative act of their lives. This philosophy led to conversations that created the space for Peter to develop insight into why and how he made his choices, the results of his choices, and the opportunity to be accountable for the choices made. As a result of this way of being, Peter, at a young age, began to notice the consequences of his choices and even more notable, the consequences associated with repressed communication and inability to be accountable that occurred in other families. It was then, that Peter learned that people can and do create their lives, but that most people are unable to be accountable for the thinking, feeling, speaking and perceiving that creates their results.

After attending college Peter studied holistic nutrition at Gulliver’s Institute in New York City while participating in numerous transformational workshops and various therapies (such as Gestalt therapy, Neuro-linguistic programming, and Transactional Analysis). Out of a desire to help people heal themselves, Peter began working with the terminally ill. He noticed that it is the mind, not the body that stops people from creating health and well being. Based on this insight, Peter began working with his clients to discover the origin of choice from their everyday thinking, feeling, speaking and perceiving – ie: the way their minds worked. “It was their minds that were creating their dis-ease not their disease,” Peter often explains and so he shifted his focus from nutrition to consciousness. The result is the Lotterhos Empowerment Training, LET. Peter led his first Basic Training in 1999 and continues to lead them today for thousands of people throughout the United States.

As Peter worked with his clients through LET, he discovered how their programmed ways of being stopped them from creating the bodies and relationships (parental, intimate, and business) they desired. After seeing the correlation and working with his clients to create their goals, Peter expanded his work and created Remarkable Body Development (RBD) and Inter-Relational Dynamics (IRD). RBD addresses how people’s programming creates their body, their level of physical fitness, and their ability to achieve peak performance. While IRD shows people how their programming creates the quality of their relationships. Both training systems teach people how to discover and transform the programming that is unconsciously creating their lives.

Peter has now used his training systems (LET, RBD, and IRD) to support thousands of people to create the lives they have always wanted. This is not done through slogans or pick-me-ups, but rather by having his clients discover the programming that was, up until now, creating their results. Once people can see their programming, they can begin to heal it. The result is a life that is consciously created; a life full of aliveness, connection, passion and love.
